Please join me this Sunday, July 13th at 12:30pm (following the 11am Mass) in our parish hall for a POP Town Hall on our upcoming renovations and status of our “God’s House, Our Home” capital campaign.
Next weekend we are participating in the Annual Mission Appeal for our Archdiocese. Missionaries from the
Immaculate Heart Foundation in C.N. Kota, India will be speaking at Masses on July 12th and 13th. I am confident Prince of Peace will be kind and generous as always! You will be able to support the Mission Appeal with envelopes provided in the pews or during the weekend online at popolathe.weshareonline.org. Thank you!
With the deadline of my (Fr. Andrew's) pilgrimage to Our Lady of Guadalupe quickly approaching on July 3rd, there is still time to sign up! I thought that I would share 9 fun facts!
I am so excited to announce to the parish that I (Fr. Andrew) will be leading a pilgrimage to visit Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City October 13-18, 2025!
As I was praying with Pope Leo XIV’s homily from his inauguration, I thought this was too good of a message not to share with you all. The homily at the inauguration Mass often sets the tone for what the Pope’s pontificate will be like. Take some time to pray with this message from our new Holy Father and then offer a prayer for him.

With the Conclave beginning this previous Wednesday, I have gotten lots of questions about how the Conclave works. As anything that happens within the Conclave is secret, we do not know how the votes will swing, but we do have the ritual book on how it is done. Below is an article from Catholic News Service that very well summarizes how it all works. I realize that we may have a newly elected Pope by the time this is printed, but it is still excellent information- Fr. Andrew
With the recent death of the Holy Father, I thought this would be a great opportunity to share about the great gift that I received in having met him.
Happy Easter! This Sunday is the eighth day of the Octave of Easter, so it is still considered Easter Day itself. So keep celebrating. This Sunday is also known as Divine Mercy Sunday.
This Sunday, April 27th is Divine Mercy Sunday. In a series of revelations to St. Maria Faustina Kowalska in the 1930s, our Lord called for a special feast day to be celebrated on the Sunday after Easter. Today, we know that feast as Divine Mercy Sunday, named by Saint Pope John Paul II at the canonization of St. Faustina on April 30, 2000.
