St. Augustine said a Sacrament "is a visible sign of invisible grace." The Sacraments are opportunities for people to gather and celebrate God's grace through symbolic action or ritual. We look forward to sharing these celebrations with you!

BAPTISM

Baptism preparation class for parents is held the first Saturday of the month at 9:00 AM in the Adoration Chapel. The majority of our baptisms take place at 12:15 pm on the 2nd or 4th Sunday of each month (following the 11:00 AM Mass).  Click here for more information about Baptisms at Prince of Peace.  If you are an adult who has not been Baptized and are interested in being Baptized into the Catholic Church, please click here to learn about our RCIA program.

RECONCILIATION

Wednesdays at Noon
Saturdays from 3:30-4:30 PM
First Saturday of the month from 9-10 AM

CONFIRMATION

Confirmation is the completion of baptism, the giving of the full power of a Christian.  Prince of Peace has a two-year confirmation preparation process that typically begins in the 7th grade.  More information can be found by visiting the confirmation program page HERE.  Contact the confirmation coordinator, Ashley Vardijan (avardijan@popolathe.org), with any questions.

MARRIAGE

Arrangements must be made between 8-10 months prior to your anticipated wedding date for the necessary paperwork and requirements to be completed.  For more information about receiving the Sacrament of Marriage at Prince of Peace, please click here.

ANOINTING OF THE SICK (Includes Funeral Information)

Anointing of the Sick is available on the first Saturday of the month during the 8:15 AM Mass in the Church or by making arrangements with the Parish Office at 913.782.8864.
