Missionary Roles

Social Media

  • Social Media Team will come up with a vision and a brand for POPLT Social Media and website
  • Social Media Team will make sure we have daily content on Instagram, Twitter, and Snap Chat.
  • Social Media team will use Flock Note to minister to parents - keeping them updated on what is happening at LT and to send out text/email reminders for Life Nights and other Events

Hospitality team

  • Hospitality Team will simply make sure that all feel welcome.
  • They will come up with new ways for newcomers to feel welcome and that they fit in this community
  • They will text, call, and do whatever it takes to get them coming back. ;)
  • Hospitality team will be in charge of welcome table and tracking attendance.
  • Hospitality must be at Life Teen by 5:40

Content Developer

  • Content writers sole responsibility is to come up with series, talks, activities, that reflect what teenagers need and what the Holy Spirit wants.
  • Content writers must be constantly open to inspirations of the Holy Spirit through constant prayer and daily study.
  • Content writers need to be people who are willing to go where teenagers are to hear what is on their heart and to understand what they need so our Life Nights and Series can serve them.
  • The first night that needs to be planned is June 25th
    • Nights must be planned within a series
    • The night outline must be presented to Youth Minister a week and a half in advance for editing.
    • Talk outlines must be presented to speaker a week in advance

Events

  • Events leaders will lead community building events outside of Sunday nights at least once every two weeks.
  • They will come up with the event, make sure we have all supplies, make sure there are enough chaperones.
  • They will make sure a gather happens after life teen (ie. sonic, bonfire)
  • Events leaders will work under the skipper
  • They must communicate with social media team to advertise for events.
  • The event must be presented to youth minister and social media team at least a week before the event

Food Ministry

  • Food Ministry will organize meal donations, set up and cleanup of all meals
  • Team musts show up at POP at 4:00pm to set up Marian Room for meals
  • They are responsible for cleaning up the room and making sure all tables and chairs are put away before they go home on a Sunday Night.
  • Food Ministry will contact all volunteers to ensure that we will have meals provided on Sunday nights. This will be done through flocknote and sign up genius

Environment

  • Environment will develop and build set designs
  • They will control all audio and visual at events
  • Environment will create new music playlist for life nights, retreats, and events.
    • Ideally these playlists will show themes of the night/event
  • Environment will use propresenter to make creative slides for talks and beautiful intro and outro loops  

Music Ministry

  • Will organize and prepare with the teens that are in the band. Talk to leaders to find out what and how many songs to prepare for different events and Life Nights.
