PTO

2018-2019 PTO Board

President - Amanda Berger

Vice - President - Jackie Stahl

Hi there!  My name is Jackie Stahl and my husband, Brent, and I have 3 kids.  Sam is a freshman at STA, Nick is in 5th grade and Caroline is in 3rd.  All 3 have been through Prince of Peace since Kindergarten and we are so blessed and thankful that God led us to this place. I have served on many different committees and have been room mom many, MANY years and I am honored to be nominated for Vice President of PTO.  What I would bring to PTO is a sense of fun and acceptance to all, in the name of service and support of our wonderful school, teachers and staff. Thanks for this opportunity!

Secretary - Carol Gometz

Carol Gometz and her family came to Prince of Peace Parish and School in 2013. She has been married to Eric for 13 years and has 3 children at POP: Sofia in 5th grade, Alexander in 3rd grade and Nicolas in 1st grade. She has been active in the Parish as a POP Moms member, Children's Church teacher, VBS coordinator and CRHP attendee and volunteer. She has been active at POP School as room parent, Gala committee member, and volunteer for Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. Besides her faith and family her passions are organizing and fitness. After having been in a career as project manager in the Information Technology field, she continues her work as a professional organizer, and most recently become a fitness coach.

Treasurer - Katie Seal

My name is Katie Seal. We have been at Prince of Peace since my oldest (currently in 5th grade) was in preschool. I have three kids:  a 5th grade boy, a 3rd grade girl, and a 4 year old boy in the POP EEC. I am a CPA that works from home as it provides me more flexibility with my kids and their schedules and activities. I would love to be a member of the PTO board as I truly believe that all parents should volunteer in some capacity.  I am very organized and was the treasurer for the Dream Factory of Kansas City for 3 years and I have been working in public accounting for 13 years.  I know it does not run without lots of parent involvement and help. Thanks!

Sr. Member-At-Large - Mandy Dunn

Member-At-Large - Aimee Johnson

I am Aimee Johnson,  a wife and a mother to five young children ages 9, 7, 5, 3, and 7 mo., they keep me very busy and I love it. Next year I will have three at POP, grades 4th, 2nd and kindergarten and I really enjoy volunteering at school, getting to know the teachers, other students and parents. I’ve come to love comments like, “hi Gabriel’s mom” even if they never know my name. I enjoy the excitement and energy of the atmosphere at school, and I’m proud to be a part of our Catholic community. I myself even graduated from Prince of Peace many (but not too many) years ago and I love that my children walk the same halls that I did. I have volunteered at many different events through the last several years and I would look forward to becoming a member of the PTO to have a more consistent presence at school and broaden my relationship with the staff and other like minded parents.  Thank you.
