To carry out the mission of Prince of Peace Catholic School for the years 2018-2023, Prince of Peace Catholic School is committed to the following goals:
Goal: To instill a zeal for Christ, love of the Catholic faith, and spirit of evangelization through knowledge, prayer, and service that promotes and supports positive Catholic values and faith-filled families.
Call to Action:
- Promote a desire in students and families to live the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy
- Provide opportunities for students to increase their knowledge of the faith, Catholic prayers, and traditions while fostering a spirit of evangelization.
- Provide opportunities for students to learn about all vocations and foster hearts open to God’s call to priesthood and religious life.
- Provide Catholic values and virtues resources and learning opportunities that promote positive school relationships
Goal: To provide comprehensive learning experiences and resources for all students that enrich and support curriculum and learning
Call to Action:
- Provide resources to support students of all learning needs and styles
- Integrate technology into classroom learning supported by ongoing professional development for teachers
- Communicate academic accomplishments both within and outside the school community
- Provide opportunities for extra- curricular activities that support or enrich the curriculum needs of students while creatively utilizing resources of time, space, and expertise of parents and teachers.
- Utilize community and parent resources to enrich classroom learning experiences.
Goal: Maintain facilities in the highest quality condition possible and continue to develop and promote an environment which supports the school mission.
Call to Action:
- Create an environment that ensures safety and accessibility of the students and staff
- Create a clean, safe, and healthy environment for the continual use of the school facilities by students, staff, parish, and school groups
- Create a school environment that visually enhances and supports the school mission
- Provide safe and functional furnishings for student and teacher use
- Enhance a learning environment that supports traditional learning experiences while offering access to alternative creative spaces which lend themselves to exploration and collaboration.
Goal: Establish a foundation for ongoing sustainability for Prince of Peace Catholic School
Call to Action:
- Provide opportunities for alumni, grandparents, and past families to stay connected with Prince of Peace Catholic School
- Develop a comprehensive plan for the ongoing revenue for the Prince of Peace Endowment Fund
- Create an active marketing plan that reaches out to current and prospective families to engage and promote healthy enrollment
- Further integrate school and parish life
- Communicate the fiscal needs of the school
